In spring 2016, the
Government of Alberta is presenting the 16th Annual Great Kids Award to
celebrate Alberta’s remarkable young people. Great kids capture the vitality of
Alberta by helping, inspiring and changing the lives of others.
These amazing young leaders
deserve our recognition because they are role models in our communities. Our
future promises to be bright led by kids like these individuals.
Nominate a Great Kid Today!
Nominate a child or
youth between the ages of 5 and 18 for positively impacting our communities or
the lives of Albertans. Sixteen great kids will be selected from four age
categories (5-8, 9-12, 13-15, and 16-18) and celebrated at a special awards
ceremony.
Who can be a nominator?
Any resident of Alberta can nominate a Great Kid – teachers, coaches, pastors,
social workers, neighbours, friends and family!
Look around your
community...seek out and celebrate the amazing young people we have in Alberta!
All nominations must be
received by November 27, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. If you have
