Community Image Summit

Keyano College in partnership with the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo are proud to invite you to the Community Image Summit, a gathering of communication practitioners, on Thursday, January 20th, 2011.

This is an opportunity communications professionals come together from industry, government, public, private and nonprofit sectors to discuss the community image challenge that we all face. Are we singing from the same song sheet? Do we effectively manage the message? Can we inspire a better sense of truth and understanding about Fort McMurray, Wood Buffalo and oil sands?

Highlighted by The Global Address with Terry O’ Reilly (host of The Age of Persuasion on CBC Radio), the Community Image Summit will feature a World CafĂ© facilitated discussion, a presentation of the Faces of Fort McMurray project and a panel discussion featuring O’Reilly, Mayor Melissa Blake, Janet Annesley from CAPP and Tim Reid from MacDonald Island Park.

For more information on the event agenda please see the image at the bottom of the post.

Your $50 conference fee includes entrance to the daytime program, dinner and a ticket to The Global Address with Terry O’Reilly.
